I have done quite a few pages but have quite a bit left. Has anyone done the GCSE and still has their coursework?I dont want the coursework i just need to know what to do for each page. I agree, I presume you'll be doing AQA so read the specification from their website. My teacher is so crap that all our class went to the headteacher to complain. im on easter holidays and want to finish all my coursework.

11 – Developments Once you have analysed your trial products and have a good idea of what could be developed into a final design you can begin to experiment and develop your ideas further.

Page 2) Image board - pictures of existing products, fabric samples, component samples, etc....an evaluation, why I needed a mood board, why I have chosen those items on the mood board.

Page 3) comparitive shop- examples of the product on the market...a grid...comparing price, colour, descriptio, fabric, and sizes, available....evaluated page. I looked at the shop, joining/neatening techniques, colour, price, appearance, fastenings, fabric content, style, washing instructions, country of origin, and function....I evaluated the page, saying how it would help me design my prouct and the designs I will use.

To gain higher marks you should look to develop your idea by looking at: Now you have trialed and developed your idea you will hopefully have a clearer understanding of what you want your final design to look like, taste like, how it will come together, what it will be made from and how big it will be.

How you present your final design is very important.

The controlled assessment makes up 60% of your overall grade so it is really important that you know what is involved and take an interest in researching the products you are making and developing.

You cannot work on your controlled assessment outside of lesson time, however you can research recipes and developments, existing products and ask others for their opinions on products you have made and might want to make for the project.
